Interest in electric flight and glider flying is growing, while aero towing is becoming popular with some members.

The Club welcomes members of all ages and abilities, and offers a safe environment with help, assistance and tuition to novice flyers by experienced club members, The club is BMFA affiliated and encourages members to follow the BMFA Achievement Scheme to the A and B certification.

Our flying site, which is within sight of the famous Cardington hangers, features a well-kept grass runway and is perfectly situated for the model flying. Flying is possible seven days a week, all year round.

Club Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month during the winter and over the summer months meetings are held at the flying field when possible and weather permits.
